Cookie and storage policy

Effective 18 October 2026 · Last updated 23 October 2026

The complete list of cookies and browser storage Spotter uses.

1. What we use

Spotter uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items, all needed to sign you in or make the app work. We don't use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't let ad networks track you on Spotter. Because everything we set is strictly necessary or a simple preference, we don't show a cookie banner.

spotter-pages-v1Cache storage (service worker)Offline copies of public pages only (home page and Find a coach). Signed-in pages and your data are never cachedUntil the next app update

4. Third-party content

Some coaches add YouTube or Vimeo videos to their page. When you play one, that service may set its own cookies under its own policy. WhatsApp and Instagram buttons are plain links: nothing is loaded from those services until you tap.

5. Your choices

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookies, you won't be able to sign in. Clearing site data also removes the offline copies and preferences above. If we ever add optional cookies (such as analytics), we'll ask for your consent first and update this page.
